Decloak have put together an in depth course on the Elektron Digitakt. If you want to learn more about the Elektron Digitakt as a sampler, drum programmer, sound design power-house, sequencer for external hardware or Ableton Live Integration then this course is for you. Whether you are totally new to the Elektron workflow or just looking to make the most of this amazing little box, this course is for you.
As with all our in-house courses, we tailor it to suit the styles of music you want to make, meaning 100% of the content you learn is relevant to your own artistic goals.
To cater for different experience levels we have a few options available and have split the course into two modules - Module 1 is for beginners to intermediate and Module 2 is more advanced. Each can be purchased separately or together as a bundle.

COURSE CONTENT
Module 1 - CORE DIGITAKT [Beginner to Intermediate Level]
Covering all aspects of the Digitakt as a standalone drum machine, sequencer, sampler, mono-synth and sound design tool.
Duration: 12 hours
Format: One 2 or 3 hour session per week. One-to-one.
Payment: Paid in Full

Introduction to Digitakt - song creation & workflow demo
Navigation overview and menu navigation
Project structure and architecture
Sequencing 4 tracks, making a basic beat
Lesson 2 - Building Kits, Sampling and Beat Making Basics - 2 Hours
Introduction to mute groups and CTRL all feature
FLTR / AMP page familiarisation
Building kits / Sound Browser / saving Sounds
SRC / LFO page familiarisation
Lesson 3 - Advanced Digitakt, Synthesis and Song Structure - 2 Hours
Introduction to sampling and resampling
Trig conditions and parameter locking in depth
Workflow tips and song structure basics
Genre based patterns - velocity, in depth LFO, programming of intricate drums.
Lesson 4 - Advanced Digitakt, Sound Design and Song Structure - 2 Hours
Compressor and mixer page familiarization
Advanced workflow - progression of patterns into song structure
Utilising pattern chain and trig conditions as song structure
Midi loopback
Using Digitakt as a mono-synth for bass lines and stabs
Lesson 5 - Sequencing Hardware - 4 Hours
